I've played golf for decades and it has finally dawned upon me (perhaps it's the old age..it is the old age) that playing boring golf is the only way to play golf. Now boring golf is not being unsocial with no heartbeat, but playing sensibly and not trying to hit that once in a lifetime shot all the time. Playing to my faults rather than desires will be the modus operandi for 2024.
This year is to record a majority of my rounds to be sub-90 and perhaps my trials and tribulations will assist others to achieve the same. I have decided this year to play golf not going for the flag all the time, but to play the odds..safe..but boring. Let's see where we end up..cheers!
